A grading is a system which provides you with a level of attainment.
Most people have heard of people in Martial Arts who are described as 'Black Belts' etc.
Grading with WAKT is very similar to this except we wear a Thai armaband known as a Kruang or Prajiad, and you can grade right through the system from White to Black grade.
